Role
Donna is responsible for leading and managing the Information Management Program of the University Library and supporting the University Librarian on the delivery of the University's Scholarly Information Strategy.
The Information Management Program comprises five teams:
- Information Strategy and Planning
- University Digitisation Services
- University Copyright Office
- Research Data Services
- Library Marketing and Communications
The program provides leadership and University-wide direction in the development of the framework that makes the University's enterprise information available for learning, teaching, research and knowledge engagement as well as coordinating the Library's strategy, planning, marketing and reporting activities.
Background
Donna commenced her career her as a Library Assistant at the University of South Australia.
In 1989 after moving to Melbourne she started in a casual role in the University of Melbourne which led to a continuing position in the Records section in 1990.
Donna has since worked in a number of roles in the records and archival profession within the University and its affiliates including becoming the Manager Records Services in 2000.
Donna is a professionally qualified Records Manager and Archivist and has a Graduate Diploma in Information Management and Graduate Certificate of University Management.
