The Chemistry Collections cover core undergraduate texts as well as graduate research areas, including organic and inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, materials chemistry, environmental chemistry, biochemistry and more.
Chemistry journal collection
Use Discovery to access full-text electronic journals and databases available to the University of Melbourne staff and students. Print journals are housed off-site at the Library's Bundoora Store. The location on the catalogue for Chemistry print journals is UniM Bund P. Journal articles from this collection can be requested online

Earth Sciences Rare Book Collection
The Earth Sciences Rare Book Collection is an important research collection of rare and early geological and paleontological texts. The collection includes many seminal works from the 19th and early 20th centuries. It has particularly strong holdings of early paleontological works in English, French & German. The collection also includes significant runs of many early periodical titles.
The Earth Sciences Rare Book Collection has been relocated to climate controlled off-site storage facilities. For more information please contact Guido Tresoldi.
The Engineering Collections cover the broad fields of Engineering and Computer Science with special strengths in the areas of alternative energy technologies, transport engineering, soils and foundations, engineering materials, geomatics, hydraulics and dynamics.
A large number of research related titles and older titles are housed in the off campus store and can be requested via the Library Catalogue.Supply time is typically 2-4 days.
Australian Standards, ASTM Standards, Building Code of Australia and IEEE Standards are available online through SuperSearch.
