Collections in the Veterinary Science Library

The Veterinary Science Library holds books and journals in veterinary medicine and surgery as well as material relating to medicine, agriculture, zoology and botany.

The Parkville branch collects generally in the areas of anatomy, physiology, microbiology, pharmacology and animal health. This library also holds the Max Henry Memorial Collection. The collection is on 15-year loan from the Australian Veterinary Association Historical Society.

The Werribee branch collects generally in the areas of surgery, pathology and parasitology. The collection is strong in material relating to specific animals.
