The University of Melbourne Social Survey was Australia's largest non-government survey between 1933 and 1946. Led by University economist Wilfred Prest, the survey covered 6500 addresses in suburbs across Melbourne.
The records have been preserved in the University of Melbourne Archives, some of which will be exhibited on the third floor of the Baillieu Library.
